To assess the efficacy of the Total Testing® program, a Standardized Survey was developed by the ERI Curriculum Development Department. The survey was distributed, in the Spring of 2005, to Nursing Programs throughout the United States having a minimum of one year experience with the Total Testing™ program. Just over 400 schools, including BSN, Diploma, ADN and LPN programs were included in the initial distribution. Of the eligible schools, 62% responded to the Survey. The results are summarized below.
Student Attrition Rates Reduced 68%
71% of schools reported a decrease in their Student Attrition Rate, after utilizing the Total Testing® program for a period of 12 months or longer.
NCLEX® Pass Rate Increased 83%
82% of the schools utilizing the Total Testing® program for a period of 12 months or longer reported an increase in the percentage of students passing the NCLEX®, as follows:
32% reported an increase of 1-10%
56% reported an increase of 11-20%
12% reported an increase of 21% or greater
Reports Aid Accreditation Preparation 95%
95% of the schools reported that the ERI Diagnostic Reports were beneficial in measuring, and documenting, outcomes necessary for accreditation.
Audio/Video Remediation Benefit Students 92%
Practice Examinations Benefit Students 87%
Prescribed Readings Benefit Students 81%
79% of the schools reported that the Prescribed Readings, individualized for each student, were beneficial in assisting the student achieve competency within the identified areas.
Review Course Effective Reinforcement 97%
97% of the schools reported that the PreRN Review Course was an effective reinforcement of the classroom experience and assisted their students in passing the NCLEX®.
Positive experience with all forms of testing (LAN, Web, Paper & Pencil) 92%

99% of the schools reported that the Customer Service was professional and prompt, readily able to address both educational and technical areas of need.
