Our entrance exams, Nurse Entrance Test (NET), Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test (HOBET) and Higher Education Learning Profile (HELP) are excellent predictors of academic success within health occupation programs and provide beneficial counseling information.
The "Reach for an A" Study Skills Testtaking Workshop reinforces valuable learning methods, such as Notetaking in a Lecture Situation, for college level learners.
The Comprehensive Achievement Profiles assess the student’s knowledge of core concepts in major nursing courses. These exams are designed to be given at the end of course content. For more specific integration into your curriculum please contact your Educational Consultant.
The Total Testing® Care Plan includes remediation and online enrichment activities, supporting positive outcomes. Critical Pathways are available to assist tracking of student progress. Critical Pathways are learning contracts that should be treated like any other course outcome criteria. ERI recommends that you contract with a student to take ownership of his or her learning. This should be used in conjunction with other expectations of your educational integrity policy.
ERI Exit Exams specifically reflect the NCLEX® outline and have definitive predictive value toward licensure success. Several versions are available including those with answers and rationales. Some ERI clients have found that the use of secured versions is one appropriate measurement of student readiness for the licensure exam.
The RN and PN Computer Adaptive Tests (CAT) offer students an NCLEX® practice experience. ERI is one of the very few companies to offer a true simulation. The CAT is designed to increase student confidence prior to taking the licensure exam. The CAT is not intended to be a predictor, but rather a mock examination. This assessment is delivered via computer software placed on campus. Multiple attempts are allowed and rationales are provided for the areas of weakness. |
